Massage Therapy Services
One of my Specialties is working with competitive Bodybuilders, Physique, Figure and Fitness competitors to help bring out the BEST IN THEIR PHYSIQUE. I have worked with many of these athletes ranging from amateur level to IFFB Pro level. I have also had the opportunity to work with competitors from several organizations ranging from OPA, IDFA, SAF, CBBF to name a few. I correct asymmetries and muscle imbalances. By doing this I am also able help improve their posing techniques and training. Since so much hard work and dedication is placed in their training and nutrition, I feel that massage therapy plays a very important role. Through my own DeepTissue and MyoFascialRelease techniques I have developed throughout my 10 plus years of practice, my goal is to make these competitors look aesthetically better, improve their training and prevent injuries. Being a competitive bodybuilder myself I understand what is needed through Massage Therapy to allow you to bring out your best in your physique and your training.
Myofascial ReleaseMyofascial release (or MFR) is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. This alternative medicine therapy aims to relax contracted muscles, improve blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulate the stretch reflex in muscles
Neuro-Muscular TherapyNeuromuscular Therapy is the utilization of static pressure on specific myofascial points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body (muscles, tendons and connective tissue) to balance the central nervous system.
Deep TissueDeep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronic aches and pains and contracted areas such as stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders. The movement is slower with more deep and concentrated pressure on the areas of tension and pain. This will enable the therapist to reach the sub-layer of muscles and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles).
Sports MassageSports massage is defined as a collection of massage techniques performed on athletes or active individuals for the purpose of aiding recovery or treating pathology. Three forms of massage are frequently reported in the sports medicine literature: effleurage, petrissage, and deep transverse friction massage (DTFM).
